Reviving Community
It all started as an idea in 1979, an oasis in leafy Maadi, to support expatriates working and living in Egypt and nurture their Arabic skills. Since then, the Community Services Association (CSA) has evolved and put its legacy on a growth trajectory to become more encompassing, extending its services to the greater community in Cairo and environs.

CrEd Cairo · Drama at CSA
CrEd Cairo (formerly Helen O'Grady Drama Academy) is now at CSA. With 20+ years in Egypt, 22 partner schools across Cairo, and recently named Franchisee of the Year 2026 at the CrEdConnect Conference in Accra — their international, self-development drama programme builds confidence, communication and creative skills for ages 3 to adults.
